Biggie: a voice like no other

Legend and literature have given us the Loch Ness Monster, the Tooth Fairy and our beloved Big Brother. Biggie has roamed the world, interpretations of his voice entering the lives of people everywhere, including Africa.
With a voice that has reduced many to blubbers, blushes and puffy faces, along with nervous giggles and mischievous smiles, Biggie’s effect on housemates is something which cannot be denied. His combined social presence of more than two million fans has also become larger than life, drawing us all deeper and deeper into the movement.
As the curtain opens on Season 9 of Africa’s biggest real-time reality TV show, the anticipation and excitement has risen to meteoric levels.  Many are looking forward to his voice being a regular feature in their lives and homes again, and watching with glee to see what he has in store for the housemates.
What is it that draws us to Big Brother’s voice? Does his firm tone plunge into the depths of our subconscious, stir memories of times gone by or is his voice simply like no other?
